Epsilon Eta Chapter Scholarship Fund
As you are all hopefully aware, the Epsilon Eta Chapter Scholarship Fund has been established to serve as a resource to reward ATO's at Michigan State for both academic and leadership achievement. Scholarships and awards are planned for tuition, books, computers, and Leadershape conferences and training. The grants will be made based on accomplishment as well as need. The Education Fund will also serve as an important centerpiece in recruiting new members to the ATO Fraternity at Michigan State University.
The Scholarship Fund is now endowed with more than $10,000 in the fund. The Fund actually consists of two parts: an endowment which is invested and is restricted to awarding earnings and/or up to 5% of the balance, and a Chapter Education Grant Fund which is used to hold contributions for immediate awards. Our initial goal was to reach the endowment level which we have accomplished. We are now setting our sights on growing the endowment to over $100,000 which will allow for permanent and substantial annual awards.
We would like to thank the few alumni that have directly donated to the Scholarship Fund to date, including all of those that played in the past three ATO Open Golf Outing’s and those playing in this year’s upcoming golf outing, as a small part of their total cost will go toward a donation to the Scholarship Fund.
All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. The ATO Foundation will recognize your gift and will send you documentation for tax purposes.
To ensure your donation will directly benefit ATO's at Michigan State and strengthen the Michigan State chapter, please make sure to designate your contribution to the Epsilon Eta Chapter Education Fund.
Contributions can be mailed (please see the coupon below) or can be made by credit card, or EFT at the ATO National Website. Stock transfers can also be made.
